ERNI today announced the appointment of a Country Manager for South Korea to further develop business and build on ERNI''s market leadership in connector supplies for the fast growing VDSL market in Korea. Mr. Abe Ha, an industry veteran, will work with ERNI''s customers and partners to implement marketing and sales plans for the company in South Korea. He reports to Dr. Chris Bruhwiler, President and CEO of ERNI Asia.

South Korea offers considerable opportunity for ERNI. As a leading country in new Telecom Technologies, Korea is a benchmark test for ERNI''s leadership in High-Speed Interconnection Technology. ERNI targets new technologies, like FTTH (Fiber to the Home), Wibro (Long Distance Wireless Broadband/Wimax) and Fourth Generation Mobile Phone.
