It is not unfortune of your choice.you should be pleased that you have such a project.As we know,some chips have been disco ntinued,accompanied with the technology's promotion.For example,as you mentioned above,the LV800 has been discarded by vendor.I also recommend you to use 160 or 320 because the large volume is a trend in design.
