职位描述/要求：
Job description:  
• Analysis of new broadband gateway product requirements (DSL gateways with VoIP, Wireless LAN, DECT, Ethernet functionalities). 
• Creation and/or execution of the detailed product hardware definition. 
• Feasibility study on complex technical blocks, managing execution of the designs 
(e.g.: schematic capture, lay-out, hardware testing, regulatory). 
• Management (technical, quality, and schedule) of external ODM partners who will be part of the execution of the design and performing volume manufacturing. 
• Hardware debug support for the driver- and firmware- engineers in system development.  
remark:
The ODM (Original Design Manufacture) business model: Technicolor lead  hardware development however main of the implementation occurs within an ODM . 
General 
• Team player 
• Result driven 
• Fluently both in written and oral English. 
• Fluently both in written and oral Mandarin. 
• Good communication and presentation skills.
Specific 
• Master’s degree (or similar by experience) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 
• 5+ years experience in hardware design and development with preferably 2+ years in ADSL products. 
• Experience in managing an external ODM-partner or major component sub-contractor is a strong plus. 
• Project management experience is a strong plus. 
• Quality management experience is a plus. 
• Strong experience and good understanding of ADSL/SHDSL/VDSL systems. 
• Familiarity with WLAN .11a/b/g, Ethernet 10/100/1G, VOIP, USB1.1/2.0 designs and standards. 
• Experienced in the regulatory aspects (EMC, EMI, ESD, surges,…) of a design. 
• Experience with high-speed PCB design and RF circuitry is a plus. 
• Experience with networking products is a strong plus.
